Beneficiary died before the Testator

In the Province of Alberta the new Wills and Succession Act states:  "if there is no alternate beneficiary named in the will, and if the deceased beneficiary was a descendant of the testator, the deceased beneficiaries portion will go to his/her descendants who survive the testator, in the same manner as if the deceased beneficiary had died intestate without leaving a surviving spouse or adult interdependent partner."

In the event that the will is totally noiseless on what happens if a recipient predeceases the deceased benefactor, at that point the run in relatively every state is that the legacy goes to the recipient's relatives, which means the recipient's kids and grandchildren. In the event that the recipient has no kids, at that point the legacy is dealt with as "lingering," and separated by the will's guidelines for the division of the remaining.
